Note: You may find it helpful to hold the ring in your nondominant hand; position the beads along the outside of the frame and hold them between your index finger and thumb as you pass back through the second bead.

Bead 3: String 1 bead, pass through the frame, and pass back through the bead just strung; pull snug {Fig. 2}.

Beads 4 and on: Repeat around as for Bead 3 until the frame is surrounded. Pass up through Bead 1. Switch to the size 12 needle if you find it hard to pass the needle and thread through the bead a second time.

To secure, pass through all beads again, following the previously stitched path. Tie a knot before trimming the thread; glue the knot.
